When the fight is over and Malicos is defeated and burried forever in the Tomb of Kujet, a short cinematic will reveal that Marrin is going to join your crew. When Malicos throws his saber into the air and leaps forward towards you, this whole combo of attacks is blockable and you can avoid all the damage by either using a well-timed Push or simply deflecting his lightsaber throws.Īlso shortly before you defeat Malicos you will start receiving some assistance from the Nightsister Merrin. In the beginning of the fight you can easily roll to the side and hit him hard while he is recovering from the jump.
Near the end of the fight Malicos will add a flurry of blows short combo after his jump-and-hit unavoidable special attack. Your other option is to roll away just as he throws the rocks in your direction. If you time it correctly and aim precisely you can turn this attack against him – throw back the rock at him to damage and destabilize him for a brief moment. In the later stages of the fight Malicos will start throwing rocks at you. Make the best out of those short moments and deal the most devastating attacks you have picked for your Cal.
Once his stamina is down you can strike him. Attacking him does the same, but is more risky on higher difficulties. The ones that you have to move away from happen while Malicos’ body glows in bright red color.ĭeflecting Malicos’ normal and special blockable attacks depletes his stamina. You will always easily determine if an attack can be blocked or not. He uses several special blockable attacks and a few that are unblockable. Trying to deplete his stamina is the best mechanic I know and use. The fight against him is a fight of waiting for your moment. The fight is rather more enjoyable compared to the giant bird (the Gorgana) or the Ninth Sister on Kashyyyk.
